Terms &
Conditions
These terms explain what to expect when you book a service with GHQ Mechanical. By booking or using our website, you agree to follow these terms.
GHQ Mechanical provides HVAC and appliance installation, repair, and maintenance for homes and businesses in Ontario. These terms explain what to expect when you book or use our services.
Who We Are
GHQ Mechanical provides HVAC and appliance installation, repair, and maintenance for homes and businesses in Ontario. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean GHQ Mechanical, and "you" refers to the person booking the service.
Our Services
We install heating systems. We repair cooling systems. We maintain appliance systems. What we do for each job depends on your equipment and the issue.
If you are unsure whether something is included, please ask us before we start.
Quotes and Pricing
We prepare our quotes based on the information you give us. The final price might change after our technician inspects the job and confirms what is needed.
We will always confirm the cost with you before we begin any work.
Booking and Access
Please make sure someone is ready to let us in at the scheduled time and that the area around your equipment is clear.
If we cannot access the site, we may need to charge a call-out fee or a cancellation fee.
Emergency service may be available outside hours, but the rate will be different.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. We may charge a fee if you cancel late or if we cannot access your property when scheduled.
Payment is due when the work is finished, unless we agree on something different. We will tell you which payment methods we accept when you book.
Our Guarantee
We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee. If something is not right, let us know and we will come back to fix it.
Some parts or equipment may also have a manufacturer's warranty, which we will explain to you.
What We Don't Cover
Some situations are not included in a standard job, such as equipment that is unsafe, damage from earlier poor installation, or parts that are no longer available.
If this happens, we will explain your options.
Damage and Liability
We take care of your property and equipment. If we cause damage while working on your property and equipment, please let us know within twenty-four hours.
We are not responsible for pre-existing problems, worn parts that break during service, or issues beyond our control. Our responsibility for any job is limited to the amount you paid.
Your Responsibilities
Please give us accurate information about the job, keep your pets safe and away from the work area, and let us know about anything that could affect safety.
